The New Too Faced Natural Love Palette - Makeup and Beauty Blog
I bet the true cat ladies out there will feel me on this! There's a shade in the $59 Besides Faced Natural Love Palette called Kittens.
At that place are thirty shades in this palette, which is designed for natural center looks, but yes, of form, Kittens was the first ane I got on my lids. 🙂
Natural Beloved is a "new" $59 limited edition palette coming out March ninth, and I say "new" in air quotes because 13 of the colors are crimson-picked re-promotes from previously released Also Faced Natural Eyes Palettes, while the other 17 are new.
It's more often than not neutrals, with some not-too-crazy purple, pink and coral sprinkled in for good measure.
Sophisticated shimmer
This is such a fun palette, despite a preponderance of neutrals and nudes, partly due to the inclusion of so many fun, shimmery colors, like Kittens, which is a purplish golden duochrome.
When I apply it with a wet brush, which is what I did on my lids hither, information technology lights up my face, simply it doesn't expect intensely frosty or metal. The duo chrome outcome gives information technology a subtle golden wink that looks very high stop.
Not a fan of the fallout…
Sadly, I've had some trubs with the nude mattes. There are things I love most them, like how they seamlessly catamenia into each other to create super smooth transitions, and at that place'due south practically no danger of going into harsh line territory, but they'd benefit from more pigment. I have to exercise A LOT of layering with them, and the formula isn't platonic for that. Information technology'south kinda fluffy, and the powders tend to hop out of the pan when a castor touches them.
Basically, I end upward with a lot of fallout.
The last verdict
I tin't knock this palette too hard because of how practical and useful it is for everyday looks, but it'due south non altogether original. There are other neutral palettes out there with like shades that don't crave as much layering or cleanup (ahem, NARS Loaded).
I recall this one would be a skilful fit, though, for a Too Faced newcomer looking for an introduction to the brand's shadows who also doesn't listen having to do some cleanup.
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
P.Due south. Adept morning and happy Tuesday. I'm sitting hither drinking coffee out of my true cat mug, watching the sun rising and listening to the birds singing. It's going to be a great day!
